The Forward Thinker and Visionary of Aurellia

The Director is the head of Genome Recombinant Industries, the research and scientific development arm of the Gaal Defense Force. He is responsible for heading up all new development for the military defenses for both Gaal City, as well as ensuring the continual advancement of technology for the benefit of Gaalian citizens’ way of life.

Conrad Lane, from what has been released about him, was an early adopter of the flexoskeletal units, who then, using his vast intelligence in the field of nanotechnology and cybernetics created the current flexosuits that are part and parcel of every member of Gaal’s defense forces main armour. His constant improvements of the suits have resulted in both enhanced soldiers and flight officers alike, regardless of Human+ skill.

Conrad’s crowning acheivement outside of maintaining day to day operations of GRI is being a driving force behind The Hand of Gaal, one of five secretly chosen members of the Council of Gaal who are responsible solely for the safety of all citizens of Gaal City and Aurellia in times of war; and while his Human+ skills mandate that he can never attain a position of true political power, his military skills are an asset to the survival of Gaal City’s humanoid species, thereby allowing him some semblance of power and control, much to the slight dismay of the other members of The Hand of Gaal.
